Project description:
The brief and revitalisation strategy for Losonci public realms developed organically as a real collaboration between the client, local comunity and Wildscape Projects. The landscape proposal creates a strategic green network and green islands that offer the chance for phasing and make space for community needs, meeting, resting and playable landscape nieches. The local built environment, concrete surfaces and natural stone conglomerates provide the inspiration for the proposal. Tactile and playable hard and soft elements are in the focus of the design as a mean to bring people closer to nature. Ecological good practices as sustainable urban drainage elements and giving space for trees – with ample greean space and Stockholm tree pit system where needed – are in the heart of the proposal.
