Subtropical ecologies are typical in more humid and warmer areas. Therefore, on continental, and even sometimes on oceanic, climate their maintenance requires more commitment and energy. Lush, large leaf vegetation is characteristic of this flora and this makes them very inspirational for planting design.
Subtropical species may well give a unique framework to our planting design, however providing the right conditions and humidity is essential in maintining these communities.
