Project description:
The WMG Landscape Masterplan sets out a sustainable and deliverable vision that will bring Waterloo Millennium Green up-to-date in terms of how modern parks are used, managed and maintained. It will be a place of colour, celebration and reflection.
Achieving an active community hub in the city center, where visitors pass through whilst local people are looking for places to belong to is not a simple goal. I believe play attracts people, brings them closer and connects them to nature. Creating playful landscapes engages all ages, activates the city and become memorable for growing up kids. These childhood memories are intertwined with the present and future, creating new narratives for places.
