Docklands regeneration

Project description:

The urban regeneration study for the London Royal Docks is looking to answer how this vast site could become the integral part of the city, whilst evolving its own distinct identity.

A series of small intervention is explored as a viable option for the revitalisation of the whole. In this unique setting, the interaction of human and nature is the heritage, present and future of the site. Experiencing the closeness of the large water surface, relying on it as the ecological framework of developments results in a strong green-blue infrastructure that is resilient to changes from various drivers.

The focus area is designed with this opportunity in mind and envisioned how it becomes organically colonized by people and nature, engaged in this dialogue new narratives are born.
